As a teenager in late 1980s and early 1990s, I lived in Stroud Green, north London. I often sketched the streets below sitting on my roof. In this article for The Guardian's The Illustrated City series, I shared some of my memories of that time.

I worked with the adult social care team to produce over 150 illustrations for the People First website. The website provides information and guidance to residents on a range of local social care issues as well as containing a directory of providers’ services and products.

Her role in 20th century history: her particular contribution to women's rights and the Suffrage movement, the importance of her art and design work, her anti-racism, her extraordinary work with women in the East End of London during the first world war, her relationship with Communist Russia and her activities on behalf of Ethiopia during the threat of Italian fascism.

Speak Out Stay Safe is the NSPCC’s safeguarding   for children aged 9-11 with additional needs and disabilities. The programme supports schools to teach children about what abuse is and safe adults they can turn to for help. It uses many practical activities and engaging methods to help pupils learn effectively.
    It has been widely used amongst primary schools in the UK.

The end of slavery started in what was then San Domingo. In 1791, the enslaved people of the most prized French sugar plantation colony revolted against their masters. For over twelve years, against a backdrop of the French Revolution, they fought an epic black liberation struggle for control of the island. Theirs was the first and only successful slave revolution. It was the creation of Haiti as a nation, the first independent black republic outside of Africa, and an international inspiration to the persecuted and enslaved.
